The Partnership Foundation grew out of the vision and faith of Lou Austin. Lou formed the Partnership Foundation in 1949 out of a desire to share his unshakable belief that God is within each us, part of our very being, offering to be our Spiritual Partner. Until his death in 1976, Lou shared this concept through his published writings, his formal and informal talks with people and his ever-constant striving to do his Partner's will.

Lou Austin did not intend this Partnership concept to be a new religion or even a religious idea. He saw it as a fundamental truth of life that people could embrace within the framework of their own churches' teachings and/or their spiritual beliefs.

Other members of Lou Austin's family are now carrying on this vision through the Partnership Foundation. We firmly believe that all people, both young and old, can benefit when they direct their minds to the presence of God within them. The positive responses we receive year after year encourages us to continue the work that Lou Austin began.
