Planning for your Capon getaway is simple!  Our all-inclusive per-person rates cover lodging, three all-you-can-eat meals per day (and snacks too!), and a wide variety of programs and activities for guests of all ages. In, 2023, prices for adults ranged from $114/night to $207/night. There is no charge for children under the age of 5, and prices for older children range from $46/night to $101/night.

What truly makes Capon Springs different from other resorts are all the “extras” that you just won’t find anywhere else. This Year We Turn 90… Come celebrate with us!

In 1932, Lou and Virginia Austin bought an abandoned resort property in Capon Springs, WV for its supply of healing spring water. Since that time, Capon has grown to become a treasured hidden gem for families, couples, individuals, and groups looking to relax, reconnect and recharge. In 2022, we will be celebrating our 90th anniversary!  We hope you will join us as we mark this historic milestone with a series of special events and programs that honor all the people who have helped build Capon’s legacy: co-workers, guests and community.

90th Anniversary Celebration Weekend:  Thursday, April 21 – Sunday, April 24
(This event is open to overnight guests.)

Schedule of Events:

Thursday~
Steak dinner at the Sunset Lodge
Live bluegrass music

Friday~
5 pm: Light refreshments on the front porch with our management team
7 pm: Historical walking tour of grounds and buildings

Saturday~
3:30 pm – 5pm: 90th Anniversary Reception at the Bandstand
Campfire singalong and hotdog roast

Sunday~
8:30 -10 am: Breakfast buffet

90th Anniversary Community Open House:  Sunday, May 1 from 2 – 6 pm (Rain Date May 8th)

We welcome the community to come explore the grounds, enjoy the recreational facilities (including the award-winning, spring-fed pool), learn about our history, listen to live local blue grass music and enjoy complimentary light refreshments. With advanced reservations, you can book golf, spa services, or our new escape room!  We will also be taking reservations for dinner.

Schedule of Events:

2-6 pm: Grounds open and available
4:30 pm: History presentation
5:00 pm:  Live bluegrass music and light refreshments on the front porch
6:00 pm: Dinner

Golf per person rates: 18 holes with cart: $45; 9 holes with cart: $35; 9 or 18 holes without cart: $25
All you can eat dinner: $25 per adult, $13 ages 5-12, under 5 free

We will celebrate the day Lou Austin stood on the county courthouse steps in Romney, WV and purchased Capon’s property (actual date July 9).
