2025 Season starts Thursday, May 1st 2025 Calendar & Rates
Many of you will be very excited to hear that the newest version of the Capon Cookbook is just about ready to go into final production! (Yes, it really is going to happen!) It has been updated with recipes of recent new menu items as well as recipes of some dishes that have fallen by the wayside and we no longer serve for one reason or another. Some recipes have been added to or tweaked over the years and when there is an obvious change, I have included both versions so you can decide. And as I was working on the final details, it dawned on me: photos would make this even better.
And it was an easy leap to: YOUR photos. So, we would like to ask for photos you have taken of your favorite meal(s) at Capon, a Capon recipe you tried at home, you and your family enjoying Capon food…. You get the idea! And just in case you need examples (proud grandparent alert!): Below are pictures of my grandchildren, Everett and Lyla, who you can see enjoyed helping their mom, Megan, make their first Capon blueberry pie! If all this inspires you to want to try a Capon recipe out right now- here’s a link to some of the Capon favorites.
Please email your photos to [email protected] by Monday, June 1st. Feel free to include the name of the photographer and/or the names of the people in the photo (if you would like the names included) and any other info that might be fun– like why you picked this photo/recipe, etc.
My crystal ball tells me the dessert category will have the most submissions…. With apple crisp leading the way! Stay tuned to see if my predictions are correct…. We can’t wait to see the photos you share!
