Planning for your Capon getaway is simple!  Our all-inclusive per-person rates cover lodging, three all-you-can-eat meals per day (and snacks too!), and a wide variety of programs and activities for guests of all ages. In, 2023, prices for adults ranged from $114/night to $207/night. There is no charge for children under the age of 5, and prices for older children range from $46/night to $101/night.

Greetings from our General Manager

Dear Capon Family,

The leaves are beginning to put on a show here at Capon and the cool nights and mornings mean we’re having fires in the Main House fireplaces.  It’s hard to believe our 2021 season will be wrapping up in just a few short weeks on November 5.  From opening day, May 13, to the summer months and then to Labor Day, the time has gone fast.  Last weekend we hosted the Mrs. Mo Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of one of our longtime guests. This coming weekend we will be holding an autumn festival for our co-workers and their families as a final get together for some fun before the end of the season.  And, of course, I’m looking forward to Halloween weekend—my first Halloween at Capon, I might add.

As I reflect on my first season of working at Capon, I am grateful for the warm welcome and support I’ve received from the Austin family, co-workers and guests.  It has been a great season getting to know everyone.  I’ve enjoyed watching many families making lifelong memories together here, just as my own family has enjoyed doing over the years.

I personally would like to thank all of you, our guests, for helping us make this a great season.  We are grateful for the time you choose to spend here with us at your home away from home.   The co-workers strived all season to give you the best stay possible, and I am proud to be a part of that group.

As we look forward to spending more time with our own families this off season, we are also preparing  for our 90th season and making it special for everyone.  We are excited to share details about some of our winter projects with you in the months ahead.  And speaking of planning for the future, if you stayed with us this season and haven’t yet completed our guest experience survey, we encourage you to take a few minutes to give us feedback.  We read every survey that comes in and will use the information gathered to help us prepare for 2022.

On behalf of the whole Capon family, we look forward to seeing some of you these next few weeks as well as welcoming everyone back again next year to celebrate our 90th anniversary.
