Planning for your Capon getaway is simple!  Our all-inclusive per-person rates cover lodging, three all-you-can-eat meals per day (and snacks too!), and a wide variety of programs and activities for guests of all ages. In, 2023, prices for adults ranged from $114/night to $207/night. There is no charge for children under the age of 5, and prices for older children range from $46/night to $101/night.

What truly makes Capon Springs different from other resorts are all the “extras” that you just won’t find anywhere else. Message from the new GM, Liz Saylor

Happy Spring! I have been entrusted to serve Capon’s guests and co-workers in the GM role for the 2023 season. As I continue to learn and grow with Capon, I am so grateful for the support of our guests, co-workers, board, and the Austin family.  I am inspired by the history and traditions you share as well as your care and love that makes Capon the special community that it is.

Having reviewed every guest survey last season, I want you to know that I am appreciative of your feedback. Please be assured that our goals align with your desired Capon experience. Day Dettinburn, Food Services Manager, has been hard at work this off-season gleaning information from retired family managers, longtime co-workers, and guest feedback to make improvements to our recipes and offerings.  The bell will be ringing, there will be snack on the porch, and tea at the pool!  We are striving to return to more family style meals to include the much sought after eggs to order.

As the hospitality industry continues to face adversity with labor shortages, we have been looking at new ways of attracting co-workers to Capon. Our returning co-workers, who have been working hard to ready Capon for your return, will continue to be our backbone.  You will see some new faces around Capon this summer, some of which will be residing on site, to include international students from Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Colombia. We are also fortunate to have a few Capon guests join our co-worker team as well as culinary and hospitality interns. We are still actively interviewing and hiring, working hard to have the co-workers needed to provide you with a memorable experience.

I look forward to meeting and spending time with many of you this season.  Please always feel welcome to stop by and say hello.  Thank you in advance for your patience and grace as I navigate this new role.  You are the reason so many of our co-workers continue to come back to Capon season after season, and I am excited to build relationships with you.
