Besides being the favorite of most guests, Piquant is also the favorite of our new Dining Room Manager, Kayla Quarles, who is featured this month.
Ingredients:
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1 T. prepared mustard
2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. vegetable oil
Onion, to taste
Combine all ingredients except onion in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until sugar dissolves, at least 25 to 30 minutes. Dice onion and add according to taste. Stir before serving. Dressing will keep for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Makes about 2 1/2 pints.
